I am an American artist whose work -- whether in oils, watercolors, pastels, charcoals or graphite -- speaks to singular stories as well as shared histories. A tonalist by nature, color is equally essential to my work and my portfolio of portraits, landscapes, commissions, and special projects is informed by a combination of close observation, intense curiosity, invention, and a simple passion for painting.
